It is now time to Register any children aged from primary 4 for the parish preparation programme for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Communion. Registration Forms are available in the church porch and on the parish website. Registration Forms should be returned to Fr Jim today-18th September. All children of the parish regardless of what primary school they attend should Register now. Older children who have missed one or all of the Sacraments should Register now too. The preparation will take place at home using a lovely Project Book supplied by the parish with support from Fr Jim and the parish Catechists and regular short meetings after the week-end Masses.

Young people aged 14-25 years are invited to come along to the national youth pilgrimage to Dunkeld and Pitlochry next Saturday (24th September). The free coach leaves from St Teresa’s Church, Glasgow Street, Dumfries at 9am, bring a packed lunch. Sign-up with Fr Jim today-email him at the parish office. THE ABABA PROJECT/TEACh. A national pilgrimage to welcome the relics of St Bernadette to Scotland will take place in Carfin
Grotto, the national Marian Shrine on Sunday 25th September with Mass
at 3pm. Our own Diocese along with the Archdiocese of Glasgow is invited to participate in the Shrine’s programme on Tuesday 27th September too. A Novena Prayer Card is gifted to you today-you are invited
to join in this nationwide Novena of prayer.
