What a lovely Mass we celebrated today in Whithorn.
The weather may have meant we were all cosy together in the church - but it certainly did not dampen our spirit!
It was great also to have bishops from across Scotland join us as we paid homage to where our Christian story in Scotland began - right here on the shores of our very own diocese.
Bishop Dougan calls us to be a Sacrament of Christ as a point of contact to others - bringing the Good News to those around us. He also reminded us that we are mirroring St. Ninian as we gathered to hear the Word of God before we bring it back with us to our home parishes.
St. Ninian, pray for us!
